SmartHome-Tech was a key solution provider, volunteering on the Leicester build for season 4 of BBC’s DIY SOS.

We were proud to support the project by donating valuable time, materials, and hardware, and implementing essential technology solutions. Our work included installing CCTV, networking, Wi-Fi, and TV systems.

This was all to assist Isla, a remarkable little girl struggling with mobility and independence due to a rare genetic disorder called mandibuloacral dysplasia.

This condition causes her bones to be dangerously brittle and results in the premature aging of her major organs.

We have no doubt that every volunteer made a massive contribution to Isla and her family and we wish them the best of health.

It was an incredible experience that we were honoured, proud and privileged to be a part of.
